Posted 12/5/2017. Thorne, also known as Mr. T, was rescued from a hoarding situation along with other dogs. While he is very shy and wasn’t fortunate enough to receive much socialization outside his previous home, he is a very sweet boy, a JRT/Beagle mix, approximately 9 years old. He is house broken, loves other dogs, cats are currently an unknown, and likes the dog park and car rides. Because of his shyness, he’s not a cuddler; but with a little time and patience it is probably in his future. He is crate trained and needs work walking on leash. He does really well when he starts out on his walk, but as soon as he realizes he is headed towards home, he will pull to get home as quickly as possible. He is very treat oriented and smart, so training is and will be generally easy. Mr. T is a great guy and just needs a patient person or family to continue helping him understand that life is good, in fact really, really good with a loving new family.
